Oliva: Restore your sense of self.

Brand identity for a Brazilian wellness SPA that positions well-being not as escape, but as return to yourself.

What's in
a name.

Oliva takes its name from the olive tree: a symbol of resilience, regeneration, and fertility. A tree that renews itself perpetually from its own roots. The space carries that same quiet promise - a place where you slow down enough to find what was already there.

The custom logotype draws from the same logic. The descender on the L curls back on itself - a subtle nod to roots, to the idea of turning inward before growing outward again. The letterforms balance serif precision with organic warmth: structured enough to feel considered, soft enough to feel close.

Still, not static.

The palette draws from the olive fruit at different stages of ripeness - a deep aubergine paired with a green that's brighter and more alive than the muted olive you'd expect. The contrast is intentional: warmth and energy, rest and renewal.

That same tension carries through the typography: regular against italic, serif against sans, text pulled between left and right alignment. Nothing clashes, but nothing sits still either.

Close enough
to touch.

The art direction leans into texture - skin, hair, linen, stone, bark. Everything is shot close enough to feel tactile, as if the image itself could be touched. The palette stays warm and grounded, and the framing favors hands, gestures, and surfaces over faces. The result is photography that feels intimate without being personal - an invitation to feel, not just to look.
